Like most parents, I constantly worry about the world my daughter was born into and how she can navigate it safely. As I struggled to put my baby to bed one night, I popped an earbud in to drown out her shrieking. And I wondered…when the last time I listened with both earbuds in? I questioned why I felt the need to be on alert even inside my own home. Then I wondered if I was the only one making these adjustments to feel more safe. And that’s how Awarepod was born.
